A little while ago we teamed up with a local textile designer, Tiphaine Alston, with a beautiful print as the result. We have created five styles out of various fabrics and colours, using the print. Here is the curve print shirt which forms part of this small capsule collection.
This winter, we have decided to embark on a project to attempt to keep some of the homeless people in our city warm. We are making fleece ponchos with hoods for extra warmth, which are being funded by donations of R60 per poncho. Visit the site we have set up using the tab ‘Poncho Project’ to read more about the project as well as to donate if you so wish.

We are participating in Collective 3.0 again! The last event was great, so make sure you’re in Kramerville on 3 March.
We’ll be at the Design Indaba Expo again this year but we’ve added in a show, which is taking place on Sunday 3rd March.

The Mungo and Jemima Summer Sale starts tomorrow, in Claremont and Long Street!
We are now stocking a select few bags and belts from our Neighbourgoods stalls. Everything is cleverly hand stitched and folded in Cape Town by Ilundi to create these beauties.
So, we missed the first one, but we will be exhibiting at the next Collective 2.0. We are very excited to be taking part in this new pop-up, especially because it allows us to meet some more of our JHB customers.

As some of you may have realised, the Biscuit Mill Designgoods section of the market has been under construction. I am very pleased to announce that this coming Saturday, 1 December, marks the re-opening of the section. It is going to be great, an open, light new space for everyone to show off their goods. Come pay us a visit in our new spot!
Tonight is the screening of the Fashion Video Project, which is a project put together by Between 10 and 5. Grouping filmakers, designers and stylists, this should be a great collection of local work.

Issue 54 of the Monocle has a little insert about the Johannesburg Neighbourgoods market in Braamfontein. We are proud to be a part of this market which encourages local design and produce. You’ll have to buy the issue to read it, since my photo is so terrible.
So, after much hunting we finally found this lovely new face to join us. A fashion student in second year at Lisof, Leanne is friendly and enthusiastic and aspires to run her own brand one day.
